Colourful Wedding Flowers at Shack Revolution, Hereford

Spring 2024 brought with it the perfect opportunity to collaborate with some of the most talented wedding industry professionals for a styled shoot at the incredible Shack Revolution. Nestled in Hereford, this urban venue provided the ideal canvas for a modern, vibrant, and effortlessly cool wedding aesthetic. As a florist specialising in colourful, joyful designs, I couldn’t have been more excited to bring my vision to life in this unique space.

Each element came together beautifully to create a vision that was both contemporary and timeless, with a playful twist.

Bringing Colourful Florals to Life

As the florist for the shoot, my goal was to design dreamy arrangements that embraced the freshness of spring while complementing the industrial charm of the venue. Think bold, seasonal blooms in an array of joyful hues — coral, fuchsia, yellow, and soft lilac — paired with lush greenery for a touch of softness.

For the ceremony backdrop, I wanted to create a dreamy showstopper and decided on an asymmetrical floral arch. I used fluffy pink and lilac gypsophilla with gorgeous spring flowers interspersed throughout and added some gorgeous netted fabric for an almost cloud like feel. For the tablescape, beautiful bud vases were chosen to showcase beautiful Spring flowers such as daffodils, icelandic poppies and tulips. They were woven between gorgeous candles and elegantly place settings, with stationery by Jones and Joy tying the look together seamlessly.

The Look: Dreamy Modern Romance

The styling for the shoot embraced a blend of modern romance and playful details. Cariad Bridal provided stunning gowns with intricate lace and clean lines, perfectly suited for a contemporary bride. Hair by Oh You Pretty Things and makeup by Planet Glam added the finishing touches, enhancing the natural beauty of our models, @cezandvez.

Caras Creative Cakes’ masterpiece featured bold textures and vibrant floral accents that mirrored the shoot’s palette. The cake was a true work of art, tying the theme together deliciously.

The entire day was captured beautifully by Carmel Teresa Photography, who expertly highlighted the vibrant colours and textures of the shoot. Meanwhile, Break Every Chain Productions created a cinematic masterpiece, showcasing the movement, laughter, and love that defined the day.
